Green Flash “Cedar Plank Pale” Pale Ale: An interesting beer to say the least. Lots of wood characteristics that almost read as pepper. A bit citrusy like orange zest with a bit of honey sweetness. As it warmed, it took on tropical notes for my palate, borderline grapefruit / mango. Crisp with a lively mouthfeel and decent amount of hop bitterness for an APA with a medium-minus lingering finish. Too bad this is limited as part of Green Flash’s Hop Oddesy. I would probably buy this in one of their four-packs during the Spring.
